Traveling from Elphinstone B.C., Canada, Mythmaker merge the ancient arts of storytelling and theatre with the dramatic skills of circus arts creating a multidisciplinary art experience, delving into the mystical, magical and profound. Performances include theatre, music, dance and ceremonial components including the dynamic circus arts of fire spinning, acrobatics, aerials and stilt walking. Their multidemsional performances strive to integrate a new cultural mythology through ritualistic performance art inspiring a new dream, which empowers the individual and community to co-create a sustainable future for all life. http://www.mythmaker.ca
COYOTE RISING
Ray Dance Tree Man Green Man
Oregon based community puppet clan, "Coyote Rising" have been entertaining crowds at festivals and special events for over 16 years. Their eclectic and colorful collection of characters includes, RayDance the Giant Sun, Alia the Muse Goddess, Coyote the Trickster, the Green Man, Gaia the Earth Mother, Phoebe the Peace Princess and many others.. . Watch out for them on the festival pathways as they meet and greet, dance and frolic, performing many spontaneous acts of lunacy.
THE BIG TADOO PUPPET CREW
The Big Tadoo Puppet Crew is a San Francisco-based puppet troupe which creates and performs politically and environmentally conscious puppetry. By combining storytelling with elements of poetry and song, they have approached the stage with memorable jingles and lessons of sustainability and democracy. We are accessible to youth of all ages and find that we can reach multiple generations with the same show. Big Tadoo
